Shinarae started Halloween event 2024 and like others, I have been running around the world taking photographs of the event monsters and also participating the killing of the monsters.

At the time of writing, I have managed to both, photograph and kill, 24 different monsters out of 25 in total. Only monster number 4, Cretian minotaur, is missing. If I get that one also, I can get the maximum rewards, which will include two eqs with user selectable stat and an improved “anyweapon”.

UNGODLY avoids (with eqs)

In this reinc I have had “only” unearthly avoids with my current eq set (as I this time opted for dex flask instead of avoid). V loaned me boots of speed, which increased my avoids to UNGODLY level as in my previous catfolk monk reinc. The boots also give Dex bonus and my Dex stat is now around 260..266 (223 previously as catfolk).

Reinc plans

As there already has been 68 days since the beginning of the reinc, I soon get instant reinc with 1%..2% reinc tax. I have been iterating various reinc plans, like human/catfolk/elf alchmerchant, elf/human riftchanneller, or ogre rangerbeastmaster, which are my usual reinc combos.

Alchmerchant might be the most probable choice as I am out of potions, salves, reagents, etc and in addition my gear has been immolated a couple of times. Although, this year, I have been only either monktarma or alchmerchant, so it would be also nice to try something else before the end of the year.
