I have managed to stay in the nomad reinc two weeks already. Ranger is as boring as expected, but beastmaster has some interesting things. For example, I managed to tame solar flare griffon, which allows me to fly around the continent and with location memory skill the overland flight skill works as Go spell.

I have also completed several beastmaster quests:

In addition to the griffon, I mostly use “A sneaking tiger looking for some unfortunate prey” as my ride. It gives me +11 Dodge, +11 Attack, and +11 Parry skills.

The solar flare griffon (A majestic golden griffon, proud and noble) gives +14 to skills, but it seems to have slightly smaller saddlebag capacity.

Other updates

As I lost the torso maker, I bought the sword of law as a replacement. It hits a lot less, but I think I can manage with it until the end of the reinc, which is hopefully soonish.

Curiously, I have managed to do semi-decent exp either by soloing or by partying as ranger+beastmaster. In one party with H, I managed to gain about 2M exp. In addition, I have had a couple of 1M exp solo sessions.

Stable mount claiming bug

At one point, I had “a fully-grown dominant wolf” stored in my stable with a bridle and saddlebags. But when I claimed it from the stable, the wolf appeared without any equipment on it. It clearly should not work that way and I filed it as bug 31136.

This wolf stands stiff legged and tall. Its ears are erect and forward, and
the hackles are bristled slightly. The tail is held vertical and curled toward
the back. It seems ready for anything you might throw at it.
She is in excellent shape.

Fulgurite bracelets

I have run around the outworld, looking for beasts and herbs for them. At the same time, I have occasionally ran into fulgurite sites. And they were easy enough so I did manage to collect 14 beads. This allowed me to improve my bracelets made of sky-blue glass beads further so that it has +4 int as primary stat.
